As a member of the International Flight Services Association (IFSA), our priority is to provide comfortable travel for passengers, and tasty and nutritious meals, and our partner catering centers are fully compliant with IFSA standards and international hygiene standards such as HACCP and GMP.
With regard to in-flight food and beverage services, our aim is to achieve the Skytrax 4 star rating. In addition, our core principles for in-flight catering include customer- and environment-friendly renewable and sustainable operational green program.
We offer menus that were created by estimating how many calories each person needs to consume daily.
Depending on the destination and length of your flight, we offer approximately 2000-2400 calories for long-haul flights and 800-1000 calories for short-haul and mid-haul flights.
Business class
In-flight meals are usually served with western cuisine, although depending on destination, various regional cuisines are available on routes to China, Japan and other Asian countries.
We prepare high-quality in-flight meals, and our business class menu is served in three courses that include an appetizer, a main course and dessert.
Based on the catering satisfaction survey, we are constantly improving the quality of in-flight meals in order to increase customer satisfaction.
Business class passengers can choose and reserve meals according to the menu.

Special meal
MIAT offers a wide variety of selection of special meals to our passengers to meet specific dietary requirements for health, age and religious reasons. Please note that your special meal request must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your flight´s departure.
How to order?
While booking your flight:
• Passengers who booking through a ticket agency, please contact the ticket agency to order your special meal.
• Passengers who booking outside Mongolia, please contact the nearest MIAT branch office to order your special meal.
After booking:
If you have already booked your flight, you can order a special meal up to 24 hours before departure by calling our Call center.
